A year-long drug investigation in Wayne County culminated in three arrests along with the seizure of thousands of dollars in illegal drugs and a gun. 24-year old Jaydyn Reese of Kenova along with 27-year old Charlie Luckett and 36-year old Steve Burkett, both of Detroit were charged with several counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, according to a news release from the Kenova Police Department. Officers investigated drug activity along 19th Street and that led to the search of an apartment where about $26,000 worth of heroin, crack cocaine, methamphetamine and fentanyl were found along with a firearm.
