The Corton Lodge officially opened last weekend, after much hard work and community involvement. An old church in Hurricane was turned into lodge and event venue by Hurricane resident Ryan Stamm, with the help of local contractors and artisans. The lodge is near more than 100 acres of walking trails and has direct access to the Elk River. A pickleball court may be added in the future, along with a play area for kids.
