Two people have been charged after police said two pounds of methamphetamine were found in their vehicle during a traffic stop in Wood County. Kevin Gardner, of Parkersburg, and Cidney Nichols, of Walker, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, transporting meth into the state and conspiracy, according to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they stopped a vehicle driven by Gardner on 44th Street in Parkersburg where a K-9 officer alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle. Eyewitness News said Nichols was a passenger in the car. Gardner and Nichols are each being held on $250,000 bonds.
