A Charleston attorney was arrested Tuesday on a fugitive from justice warrant out of Virginia for allegedly exposing himself to a child. Eyewitness News said 65-year old
James Barber of Charleston was arrested at his downtown law office. The warrant for his arrested was issued by the Chesterfield County Police in Virginia. Barber was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court for being a fugitive from justice and taken to the South Central Regional Jail. He is being held without bond. The investigation is ongoing. According to his biography from Hartley Law Group, PLLC, Barber graduated from West Virginia University’s College of Law and has been representing injured clients since 1984.
