A law enforcement vehicle was struck along Interstate 79 South in Kanawha County Tuesday evening. Investigators told Eyewitness News a deputy had recently completed a traffic stop near mile marker 3 and was still on the shoulder when a driver ran off the road and crashed. Deputies said the driver may have been under the influence. No word yet if charges are being filed.
