A former veteran Logan County firefighter and dispatcher has been charged in a child sexual abuse investigation. 27-year old James Bryant of Chapmanville has been charged after being accused of having a relationship with an underage girl. At the time of the alleged relationship, Bryant was serving as a lieutenant with the Chapmanville Fire Department where he had worked since 2018. He also previously served as a Logan County dispatcher. He’s no longer with the Logan County fire department.
