Kentucky teen dies while swimming

Kentucky State Police are investigating the death of a teenager who went missing while swimming near the Ratliff Hole River Access Point in Elkhorn City. Troopers said they responded to a call about a possible missing swimmer on July 17. When they arrived on the scene, they said they found the body of Zachary Mullins, 18, from Grundy, Virginia, in the water. Eyewitness News said Mullins’ body has been sent to the Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy, but no foul play is suspected.
