A man has been charged after crashing his vehicle into a Putnam County grocery store while allegedly driving under the influence. The Poca Supermarket shared a photo Thursday morning after they said someone crashed into the entrance of the store about 1:45 a.m. Nitro police told Eyewitness News that 49-year old Joseph Bailey was charged with destruction of property and aggravated driving under the influence. Police said Bailey made a wrong turn and crashed into the supermarket. No injuries were reported, and the supermarket was open Thursday despite the damage.
