The parents of a 16-day-old infant who died last year in Putnam County are now indicted for the baby girl’s alleged murder. Brooke Kessler of Hurricane and Jacob Kessler of Flat Top face charges in the case. The baby had brusing and broken ribs, according to court documents. The baby was eventually removed from life support. At first, only the mother faced charges and police arrested the father too as the investigation continued. Circuit court dates are pending.
