Governor Patrick Morrisey addressed a flooding disaster in Texas in a post on X over the weekend, saying he directed Emergency Management officials in West Virginia to remain on stand-by should they be called to give assistance in Texas. More than two dozen are confirmed dead as a result of the flooding, including several children who were at Camp Mystic, a Christian summer camp for girls. Hundreds were rescued. Governor Morrisey urges support from West Virginians, who are all too familiar with flooding issues.
