An ammonia leak was reported Saturday at the Chemours plant in Belle, prompting a shelter in place by emergency officials, but it has since been lifted. Residents within a quarter mile of the leak were impacted by the shelter in place, which lasted about 30 minutes. It was lifted as soon as the leak was stopped.
