A former Ravenswood Middle School assistant track coach who admitted to filming an underage girl in a changing room was sentenced on Saturday. 30-year old Thomas Haines was given a suspended sentence of six months in jail and two years of unsupervised probation. Haines was first accused of filming an underage girl in a changing room designated for the girl’s track team, for whom he was an assistant coach at the time, in March 2024. The minor is the only person Haines is believed to have filmed. Haines was found guilty of attempting to commit criminal invasion of privacy with a sexual motivation during a bench trial in June.
