Visitors to the 2025 Ohio State Fair may have noticed significant construction around the fairgrounds. The work being done is part of a massive overhaul known as the 2050 Master Plan. The total project budget is $460 million. Some of the extensive renovations are scheduled to be completed by 2026. The Ohio Agriculture Center will feature more than 100,000 square feet of multi-use convention space. The Ohio Showcase building will anchor the center of the grounds near the new Town Square gathering space. WCHS TV said they’re also doing underground infrastructure work to improve utilities and improve electrical systems and WiFi. The 2026 Ohio State Fair is set to take place from July 29 through Aug. 9.
