More details on another high-profile nonconference matchup for West Virginia’s men’s basketball program were announced Monday. The Mountaineers will face off against Ohio State on Dec. 13 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, according to a news release. The game is part of the Cleveland Hoops Showdown, a doubleheader that will also feature a matchup between Ohio and St. Bonaventure. Game times and television spots will be announced at a later date, according to WCHS TV. West Virginia enters the season under first-year head coach Ross Hodge, who spent the last eight years at North Texas, including the last two as head coach. Tickets for the Cleveland Hoops Showdown are set to go on sale Oct. 9.
