One person is dead following a crash involving a semi-truck and passenger vehicle that occurred along U.S. 119 Thursday morning in Logan County, investigators said. Justin McMillion, 35, of Greenbrier died at the scene of the crash, according to a news release from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. The news release said investigative efforts indicate McMillion lost control of his car while traveling southbound, crossed over into oncoming traffic and was struck by a semi. According to deputies, the truck was hauling cinder blocks, which spilled onto the roadway after the wreck. The truck driver was taken to Logan Regional Medical Center for observation. Sheriff’s deputies reported receiving assistance on scene from West Virginia State Police, Chapmanville police and the West Virginia Public Service Commission.
