Three face charges for Rural King theft

Three people arrested in connection with a theft investigation at a Rural King in Cross Lanes have been sentenced. Jimmie Wade LeMaster Jr., 37, of Cross Lanes; Mary Elizabeth Browning, 38, of Nitro and Jon Christopher Halstead, 58, of Cross Lanes were all indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit breaking and entering. A criminal complaint said that after LeMaster and Browning allegedly stole a welding machine, they requested a ride from Halstead to KV Jewelry and Loan in Dunbar and that he pawned it on their behalf.
