Investigators are asking for the public’s help following a burglary and arson last week outside of Huntington. The incident was reported in the early morning hours of Aug. 8 in the 3500 block of James River Road in the Huntington portion of Wayne County, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office. A 2015 or newer maroon Cadillac Escalade is believed to have been involved and it may still be in the Ceredo or Kenova area of Wayne County. Anyone with information about the vehicle or the investigation is urged to call the WV Arson Hotline at 1-800-233-3473.
