West Virginians can save on a tax free shopping weekend through August 4th

Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced that West Virginians can save money on school items and necessities with its annual back-to-school tax-free weekend Aug. 1-4. Over the four-day tax holiday, West Virginians can save an estimated $3.4 million when shopping for the upcoming school year. These items include certain clothing, electronics, instruction material, school supplies and sports equipment within certain purchase prices.
