A Michigan man who had a warrant for felony delivery of a controlled substance has been arrested. Daniel Leggette of Detroit, was arrested following a brief chase on foot in the Marcum Terrace Neighborhood, according to a release from the Huntington Police Department. Investigators said an extensive ongoing drug investigation, led by the Huntington Violent Crime Drug Task Force, resulted in Leggette’s arrest. SWAT officers and detectives executed a search warrant on Leggette’s home on Oakland Avenue, which resulted in the seizure of a firearm and “distributable amounts of cocaine, crack cocaine and fentanyl,” according to investigators. WCHS TV said Leggette is currently being held at the Western Regional Jail with a $250,000 cash-only bond.
