A Charleston teenager accused in the fatal shooting of a tobacco shop employee appeared in court Wednesday. 15-year old Barack Williams was charged in the January murder of 19-year-old Caden Martin, who was working at the north Charleston store when Breājuan Williams-Hampton shot him following a robbery. Williams is accused of serving as a lookout. Court documents said multiple items were taken during the robbery, including vape products and an ice cream bar. Williams, who was 14 years old at the time of the shooting, was recently indicted on new charges and will be tried as an adult. WCHS TV said pretrial motions are set to follow jury selections. Williams-Hampton has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 15 years.
