Charges have been dismissed against a Kanawha County substitute teacher who was accused of assaulting a child earlier this month. The Kanawha County Prosecutor’s Office filed a motion to dismiss a felony battery and assault of a disabled child charge against 54-year-old substitute teacher Willie Washington. The prosecutor’s office cited a lack of evidence regarding the incident at Dunbar Primary School, according to Eyewitness News.
