The West Virginia Division of Transportation said that a contractor was killed early Saturday morning after an accident in a work zone along I-64 East near Huntington. The accident happened around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. Barboursville Police said their preliminary investigation showed that the contractor stepped into the traffic lane and was struck by a bus. The contractor was working for Triton Construction, Inc.
