A months-long investigation has resulted in 10 arrests and pounds of illegal drugs being seized in Cabell County, deputies said. The nine-month operation focused on a drug trafficking organization connecting Huntington to Detroit, according to a social media post from the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office.The post said on Wednesday, multiple law enforcement agencies searched three addresses in Huntington, uncovering about 10 pounds of methamphetamine, 400 grams of fentanyl, multiple guns and “a large quantity” of cash. Deputies said properties on Baer Street, Madison Avenue and Altizer Avenue were searched.Investigators believe the drug ring has been operating in Cabell County for about two years. Deputies reported receiving assistance in the investigation from the FBI, West Virginia State Police, DEA and Huntington police.
