A Putnam County woman was sentenced to prison Monday for the mistreatment of a special needs child at a daycare facility. Eyewitness News reported that Amber Seiler of Poca was sentenced to one-to-five years. Seiler formerly worked at the Cross Lanes Child Care and Learning Center, but was arrested after investigators reported finding evidence she hit children in her classroom and spit on a 4-year-old. A decade of supervised release time will follow Seiler’s prison sentence.
