A Huntington man accused of murdering his 3-month-old daughter was back in court this week where his trial was once again pushed back. Shannon Overstreet’s murder trial was last set for October but has now been pushed to March 2026, according to Eyewitness News. Attorneys on boths sides were in agreement that they need more time before the case goes to trial. This case from 2021 involved Overstreet’s farm property in Olive Hill, Kentucky, the FBI and Kentucky State Police were involved in an investigation into baby Angel’s disappearance, along with Huntington Police. Overstreet was not indicted for Angel’s murder and concealment until December 2023. The trial has now been set for March 16, with pretrial motions scheduled on March 2.
