After nearly five years of planning, the Market on Main, owned by Boone Memorial Health, opened its doors to the public in Madison on Friday, giving those in Boone County another option for fresh produce. WCHS TV said many of the goods in the market are sourced right in Boone County from local farmers. Mayor of Madison Buddy Hudson said he hopes to see new growth continue across his town.
