High school students thinking about a career in nursing will have two chances this October to get hands-on experience through the University of Charleston’s Nursing Boot Camps. The Beckley event is set for Saturday, October 4, with a festive Trunk or Treat from 11 to 2, followed by the boot camp from 1 to 4. The Charleston campus will host its event Tuesday, October 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. Both sessions are free but space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
