The old Hurricane fire station on Main Street is being turned into an entertainment venue. The old fire station lasted nearly fifty years, but it’s been vacant since the new fire station was built in 2023. Hurricane Mayor Scott Edwards said that they are building a stage under the canopied section, and it’s going to have both indoor and outdoor seating options. The plan is to have live music and food trucks to draw a crowd, possibly by next spring.
