West Virginia State University has its State of Tomorrow capital campaign going on now. That’s a five-year effort aimed at raising 25 million dollars that’s raised more than 22 million dollars through early donations in the first two years.
The campaign is built around three main goals.
Elevate — expanding scholarships and supporting faculty.
Strengthen — investing in new facilities, including a new School of Agriculture and an upgraded track and field complex.
And Sustain — ensuring the long-term future of the university.
The campaign will continue through the next three years.
