A second ‘No Kings’ rally is planned for Saturday in Charleston

Advocacy groups in West Virginia are planning a “No Kings Rally” this Saturday, October 18th, at the State Capitol. The event begins at 11 a.m. with a march from the Robert C. Byrd Courthouse to the Capitol, followed by a rally from noon to 3. The rally is h
osted by United West Virginia and several civil rights organizations and it’s part of over 2,500 similar events nationwide.

Speakers will include community leaders and advocates from the ACLU-WV, Charleston NAACP, and more. Trolley buses will shuttle attendees between the Capitol and downtown.

This marks West Virginia’s second “No Kings” event this year.
