The Charleston Land Reuse Agency is inviting the public to a community meeting on tonight (Tuesday, October 7), from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Element Edge on 4th Avenue.
The meeting will highlight the agency’s work to return vacant and abandoned properties to productive use. A brief presentation will cover current programs and projects, followed by time for residents to speak directly with CLRA board members and staff.
The agency has launched several initiatives, including incentives for new home construction, funding for renovations of vacant houses, and a program allowing neighbors to purchase nearby vacant lots.
