DNR announces the return of the trout contest

West Virginia’s Monster Trout Contest is back for its fourth year, giving anglers a chance to win prizes for reeling in trophy trout. The Division of Natural Resources says 40,000 pounds of trout are being stocked in lakes and streams across the state this week, with 100 of them marked with special pink tags. Those who catch one can submit a photo to enter for prizes, including a weekend cabin stay and Bass Pro Shop packages. Entries are due by Friday, November 21st.
