A Kanawha County mother who’s challenging West Virginia’s school vaccine rules did not show up for her court hearing Wednesday. She’s asking for a religious exemption so her son can attend school without required vaccines.
The case comes as a Raleigh County judge considers grouping similar lawsuits into a possible class action. If that happens, the Kanawha County case could become moot.
The Kanawha County hearing is happening at 9 o’clock this morning.
