The West Virginia Department of Tourism said it will be hosting a free-to-all Halloween Bash next Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. The event will be held at the West Virginia Culture Center, located in the State Capitol Complex and then families are invited to take a short walk toward Kanawha Boulevard, where Governor Patrick Morrisey and his wife will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters at the north gate of the Governor’s Mansion. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes for Pre-K and under, Kindergarten through second grade, and third through fifth grade.
