A new grocery option is coming soon to Hurricane. Construction is underway on a Dollar General Market off Main Street, next to Whitt’s Farm Supply. It will be similar to the Teays Valley location. Mayor Scott Edwards says the market will serve the growing housing developments nearby and boost local convenience. The store is expected to open in early 2026.
