West Virginia Junior College School of Nursing is getting national recognition. It’s one of just three schools in the country to win the 2025 Innovation in Employer Collaboration Award from Career Education Colleges and Universities.
The award highlights schools that team up with industry partners to boost student learning and workforce development. WVJC stood out for its online and hybrid nursing programs that reach rural and underserved communities.
Through partnerships with local healthcare providers, students get hands-on training right in their hometowns — preparing them to work where they’re needed most.
