Interstate travelers can expect delays this week in Charleston as work continues on the Fort Hill Bridge. The West Virginia Department of Transportation says crews will close sections of I-64 East again today to install a protective membrane and new asphalt.
Weather pushed back Tuesday’s work, and it’s unclear how that will affect the schedule. The $6.6 million project is part of ongoing repairs to the 50-year-old bridge, with a full deck replacement set for 2027.
