A months-long investigation into drug trafficking organizations in southern West Virginia has culminated in multiple arrests along with the confiscation of more than 20 pounds of illegal substances, according to a news release from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department..Multiple traffic stops and searches at seven locations in Huntington, Fort Gay and Crum brought the seizure of methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and marijuana worth about $270,000 in addition to 19 guns and more than $100,000 in cash.
