Two members of the West Virginia National Guard were shot Wednesday in Washington, D.C., the state’s governor said. The shooting was reported shortly after 2 p.m. near the Farragut Square Metro Station, blocks from the White House.Federal investigators said both Guard members remain in critical condition and a suspect was taken into custody.
