Just eight teams remain in each of the four classes in the state high school football playoffs. The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission announced the dates and times for the quarterfinals of each class. In Class AAAA, No. 8 Spring Mills will play at No. 1 Morgantown on Saturday, Nov. 22. No. 5 George Washington will play at No. 4 Jefferson on Friday, Nov. 21. In Class AAA, No. 7 Herbert Hoover will play at No. 2 Princeton on Saturday, Nov. 22. No. 5 Nitro will be at No. 4 North Marion on Saturday, Nov. 22. In Class AA, No. 8 Mingo Central will play at No. 1 Frankfort on Saturday, Nov. 22 while No. 11 Clay County will play at No. 3 Philip Barbour on Friday, Nov. 21.
