Two Logan County parents have been charged after an 11-month-old boy was found with a broken tibia after visiting his parents. Brandon James Jones, 31, and Raven Damron, 30, both of Logan, were charged after troopers received a report from Child Protective Services of a child with a broken leg. Siblings told investigators Jones allegedly stomped on the boy’s leg during a visit on Oct. 25. He and Damron are then accused of ignoring the infant’s screams throughout the night. The siblings told their foster mother of the incident and the boy was taken to a local medical center. Troopers said the child also has strep throat. Jones was charged with child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury and Damron was charged with child neglect resulting in serious bodily injury, according to the complaint. Bond for Jones was set at $60,000 and $30,000 for Damron.
