A fire heavily damaged a business and a home in South Charleston Tuesday morning.
Crews were called just before seven-thirty to the Queen Nails and Spa building on Sixth Avenue. The business occupies the first floor, with a residence upstairs.
Firefighters say the fire had already spread extensively when they arrived, causing major damage to the second floor. No injuries were reported, and a dog was rescued.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
