Transportation officials say a section of Interstate 77 and U.S. Route 50 in Wood County will close overnight for bridge demolition.
Lane closures are planned at mile marker 176 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. Westbound traffic will detour to Emerson Avenue, while eastbound drivers will use Staunton Avenue.
The West Virginia Department of Transportation says the overnight work is meant to reduce traffic delays. Drivers are urged to watch for signs and use caution.
