Gov. Patrick Morrisey announced new appointments to the West Virginia Veterans Council and Board of Pharmacy this week. Three appointments were made to the Veterans Council: Putnam County Sheriff Bobby Eggleton served four years of active duty and two on reserve duty for the Marine Corps. Before being elected sheriff, Eggleton worked with Charleston, Winfield and Nitro police. Cyber professional and systems engineer Kelvin Upson served 24 years with the U.S. Navy. In 2015, Upson joined the private sector, serving in cybersecurity and information technology roles. Nicholas County commissioner Gary Roberts has six years of active duty service with the Marine Corps. Roberts is also a member of the American Leadership Institute,
