A Kanawha County woman reported missing early Thursday morning was found dead on Thursday afternoon, deputies said. Cynthia Sue Holley, 63, of Elkview, was previously reported missing Thursday morning after she was last seen leaving her Elkview home just before 6 p.m. Wednesday. She was found dead in a hotel room in Catlettsburg, Ky., according to a release from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office.No foul play was suspected in Holley’s death and Deputies said it appears to be self-inflicted. Because Holley’s death occurred in Boyd County, the Boyd County Sheriff’s Office will handle the investigation.
