A Poca man has been arrested in connection with the theft of multiple vehicles from a rental business in Cross Lanes.
The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says 37-year-old James Quesenberry is charged with breaking and entering and grand larceny.
Deputies say the theft happened December 19th at United Rentals on New Goff Mountain Road. Investigators say a suspect used an excavator to break through a fence, stealing a truck, a trailer, and two side-by-side vehicles worth about 85-thousand dollars.
Quesenberry was later stopped driving a U-Haul tied to the crime and admitted his involvement, according to deputies. He’s being held on a 30-thousand-dollar bond, and the investigation continues.
