Several people exposed to teargas in Downtown Charleston

Several people were reportedly exposed to tear gas Friday at a Charleston business, dispatchers said.Kanawha County dispatchers said firefighters reported that several people were exposed to tear gas after some kind of leak at Downtown Ford near Patrick Street Plaza.The incident was reported about 9:35 a.m. Friday. Employees at the car dealership said someone accidentally bumped into an old safe that used tear gas as a deterrent, setting off the gas. Charleston police and firefighters responded.
