The Wood County Sheriff’s office say a woman dies in a two-vehicle crash in Wood County on New Year’s Eve. The crash occurred just around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Murphytown Road and U.S. Route 50. Deputies said that Ashley Perry was attempting to turn left onto Route 50 West, but was t-boned by a vehicle heading eastbound on Route 50. Perry, 42, died from her injuries as a result of the crash. Deputies did not reveal the condition of the driver who t-boned her. No criminal charges will be filed in connection with the crash.
