A woman walked into a local hospital with multiple stab wounds early Friday morning. Kanawha County deputies are investigating after the woman arrived at Thomas Memorial Hospital around 2:30 a.m. with seven stab wounds. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening. Deputies said the woman was initially uncooperative, but later told deputies she was involved in a fight with several other women near the Shawnee Park area separate from the sports complex. A K-9 unit was used in an attempt to locate the scene of the incident. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
