Lane closures on Montrose Drive in South Charleston are getting underway within the next week after weather delays pushed back the start.
Representatives with the West Virginia Department of Transportation said crews are preparing for a project to replace three bridges in the area. The first phase will last about 100 days and involve nighttime work to limit traffic disruptions.
Drivers should expect overnight delays and allow extra travel time once closures begin. The overall project is scheduled to continue through the end of the year.
